I'm so happy to be teaching and learning with the wonderful students at Wilkshire Early Childhood Center. I have been teaching since 1997 and have been at Haslett since 2018.

All students will have STEAM lessons and art lessons in the robot room. 

The Haslett Elementary STEAM class integrates science, technology, engineering, the arts, and mathematics to guide student inquiry, dialogue, and critical thinking. Our goal is to help students take thoughtful risks, engage in experiential learning, persist in problem-solving, embrace collaboration, and work through the creative process

During their art time with me, artists will learn about famous artists through art history, explore materials that artists use, and learn about the seven elements of art and create masterpieces that reflect these elements. 

When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family, which includes my husband, son, and two daughters. I love to read, write, be outside, and create all kinds of art. I am looking forward to a wonderful school year.
