1st Grade | Hatch, Holly

Welcome to the sailboat room!  I am very excited to be back in a classroom teaching young children!  It's my goal to educate the whole child from the social/emotional side to the academic side.  I have a degree in Human Ecology with a Major in Family Community Services from Michigan State University and a teaching certificate from Spring Arbor University with a major in English. My husband Kevin and I are both educators. We have 3 kids who all attend Haslett schools; Dane (16), Glory (15), and Porter (10). 

I grew up in Traverse City embracing the outdoors. I loved figure skating, downhill skiing, tennis, sailing, and swimming in Lake Michigan and Torch Lake. I still spend my summers up north. It's my favorite place! Some of my interests are reading, boating, taking walks, exploring new places, and spending time with my family, friends, and two crazy beagles.
