The Wilkshire PTO is a group of parents and staff that meet to discuss and learn about the issues and events happening at Wilkshire. We are open to all parents and staff. The Wilkshire PTO meets once a month. Please see the Wilkshire Calendar for meeting dates. Throughout the year, we have several volunteer opportunities for our parents/guardians. In addition to helping out in the classrooms, we have the following opportunities:
- Courtyard Clean-up
- Book Fair – Fall & Spring
- Fun Run
- Family Fun Night
If you are interested in volunteering or coordinating any of these committees, please contact the Wilkshire office at 517-339-8208. In addition to volunteering, the PTO funds the following:
- Field Trips
- Staff/Teacher Appreciation
- Weekly Readers
- Staff/Teacher Grants (money placed in an account for every teacher to use for special projects or other classroom needs)
- Snow gear/care items needed for students
